WonderCon 2023: Exhibit Hall Recommendations

When I'm not presenting panels on WonderCon Saturday and Sunday, I hope to visit the following indie artists in the Exhibit Hall.

If you're like me, who'll wear a K95 and aim to keep my time on the floor as limited as possible since it's likely many people will roam the Exhibit Hall maskless, I highly recommend studying the WonderCon Exhibit Hall map now. This way, you can plan the most straightforward routes to reach the tables you're interested in, and then exit the hall and Convention Center completely for fresh, circulated air.

Each listing and image notes the artist's Exhibit Hall location, which are each linked to their location on the WonderCon Exhibit Hall map. All images are screenshots from each artist's respective Instagram (which is also noted and linked in each listing) to give you an idea of their art style. The images do not necessarily represent products they're bringing to WonderCon 2023. For an idea of what each artist will sell during WonderCon, follow them on Instagram and turn on Story notifications (several of them tend to announce or tease in their Stories first).

What does AA mean when it's listed as the location for an exhibitor? AA stands for Artists' Alley, which is located in the Exhibit Hall's southwest end (i.e., Hall C). Artists' Alley is laid out over six (6) aisles—Aisle A to Aisle F, north to south—and each aisle is made up of 42 tables that ascend in number (1–42) from the Lobby C entrances to the back of Hall C. So, for example, to find Maxi Rodriguez' KasutoProductions table located at AA E-13:

What about SP? SP stands for Small Press, which is located in the Exhibit Hall's northeast end (i.e., Hall A). Small Press is made up of table numbers that go from SP1 to SP75, then jumps to tables SP92 to SP107. It's also laid out like a maze that assumes you'll start from table SP1, walk up until table SP11, and then cut left and zig-zag through the rows until you reach table SP107, and back to the "start" of the Small Press area.
