Hello Barkada activity sheets are free downloadable resources. Printing isn't necessary. They can be written and colored on in free PDF editing applications; Google "free PDF editor" for options.

By including artists with intersectional identities, these activities are also intended to validate, start conversations, and build community. Please share them with family, friends, teachers, librarians, before- and after-school program coordinators, and others.

If you've completed or distributed any of our activities, please post a photo and tag @hellobarkada #HelloBarkada so we can reshare and see them in the wild!

COLORING SHEET • January 2022

Born on January 17, 1927, the late Eartha Kitt had a presence and perspective as indelible as the purr she popularized in the 1953 holiday single "Santa Baby." She believed in embracing difference and that being true to oneself was worth every cost. An internationally-celebrated actress, singer, and dancer whose career spanned the 1940s to the late 2000s, Kitt was also an advocate for social justice, LGBTQ+ rights, the environment, and exercise. Learn more about Kitt, her work, and her impact from EarthaKitt.com.
